The Totems also beat Los Angeles 3-2 on Sunday to gain two points on San Francisco. Vancouver beat Portland 2-1, while Portland lost pace with leader Victoria. The Maple Leafs beat Providence 5-1 in the AHL, widening the gap to Portland.
