Ukiah Police Captain Harold Andersen Dies of Heart Attack
A full dress funeral honors Ukiah police Captain Harold E. Andersen who died Saturday at his Marwen Drive home from an apparent heart attack. Andersen joined the Ukiah department in 1956, rose to captain in 1969, and led the detective and services division. He held POST certification and pursued a justice administration degree as he mentored youth programs. He is survived by his wife Peggy and three children, with further family in Concord.
