Potter Valley edges Point Arena in tense northwest high school clash

In a hard fought Northwest League tilt Potter Valley narrowly defeated Point Arena 27 consecutive points sealed by strong rebounding and key free throws. Joe Wright scored sparingly but Elmer and Herb Wright contributed, while Mendolcinio Cardinals faced Potter Valley in a looming rematch as Potter eyes an undefeated season and conference title.
