Maid identifies Shaw as Clay Bertrand at Kennedy trial

A maid in an Eastern Airlines VIP room testified that Clay L. Shaw signed a 1966 guest book as Clay Bertrand, the name linked to Oswald in the Warren Report. She admitted under cross examination she could not identify Shaw in court on January 21, the trial’s opening day. Shaw faces conspiracy charges with Oswald and Ferrie in the 1963 Kennedy assassination. An FBI witness previously failed to locate Bertrand, and a Kansas pathologist testified Kennedy’s head wound suggests a frontal, not rear, entry.
