Wyoming convict Lindsay sentenced to die in gas chamber

Ernest Lindsay, 22, was sentenced in Douglas to die in the Wyoming gas chamber on March 20 for the fatal shooting of 62 year old real estate broker Herbert Drestler of Lawndale California. In Cleveland the Indians approved a plan to sell the American League club for 3 061 800 dollars.

Doctors Consult on Eisenhower Recuperation at White House

Five physicians led by Dr. Paul Dudley White conducted a medical review at the White House to assess President Eisenhower’s recovery from his heart attack. They reported he could lead an active life for five to ten years and that a second term decision rests with the President, not his doctors. He served 20 years as deputy county tax collector under George Davis and previously led accounting at Muir General Store in Willits for 25 years. VFW Crab Feed Draws Capacity Ukiah Crowd

Ukiah post Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars fed a capacity crowd with a crab feed on Thursday night and held their regular meeting afterward.
