Eureka Woman Killed When Van Strikes Car on 101
Ruth Biruth Lagzdinz, 61, of Eureka, died after a U-Haul type van driven by Douglas Gibson Burns, 50, of Newburg Oregon, blacked out and crossed into the northbound lane on Highway 101 just north of the Mendocino County line. The van struck Lagzdinz’s car broadside and rolled over.
