A 33 year old Laytonville real estate salesman, Lorne Strider of Frank Johnston Realty, has filed to run in the June election for the county supervisorial seat in the third district. Strider chairs the Laytonville Citizens Advisory Committee on Zoning and Planning and aims to preserve rural character while stabilizing the local economy. Also filing Monday were Sheriff Reno Bartolomie, Supervisor Ted Galletti, Alvin Withers, Sam Ray Jr., and R. K Shore, with filing closes March 8.

Smoking rules and hospital firm topics face county board
