Five Youths in Custody for Trombetta Warehouse Burglaries
Five youths aged 14 to 17, from Ukiah area families, are in custody over burglaries at the Trombetta liquor warehouse on December 22 and January 7. The first break in yielded three gallons of wine, the second pried off a corrugated sheet and netted 14 half pints of whiskey. A suspect not involved in the burglaries purchased liquor then led police to a hidden stash on Low Gap road containing 83 unopened bottles. The bulk of liquor had been sold or consumed. additional missing liquor may remain with other juveniles. The estimated loss from the one break is $148.98 for three full cases of half pints.

Collision on Orr Springs Road Involves Bellue and Bowlby

Southwest Airways Flight Held Up At Ukiah Runway Break
