California Disclose Act aims to reveal top donors in campaigns
The Disclose Act signed as Assembly Bill 249 by Gov. Brown requires ballot measure ads and independent spending to disclose top three funders, ending much of donor anonymity. Advocates say it will let voters see who influences campaigns, though the law leaves some vagueness and does not require the largest direct donor contributions.
