Fort Bragg Man Slain in Bar Fight Knife Death
Mendocino County police arrested Greg Risse, 23, of Rio Linda on murder charges after a fatal knifelike altercation outside a Fort Bragg bar. The 25 year old victim, Larry Alan Fereira, died an hour later at Mendocino Coast Hospital. The weapon was a four inch folding knife. Cain Grove Haverfield Mortuary handling arrangements. This was Mendocino County’s 11th homicide of 1974 and the first by knife.
