Fort Bragg teens unveil vibrant library mural
Partnership Scholars Program students Kenny Reyes and Ana Romero Thomas from Fort Bragg High School and Fort Bragg Middle School, with Daniela Aguirre, planned and painted an 8 by 16 foot mural now in the Fort Bragg Library Community Room. The mural celebrates the library's gifts of information, knowledge, and creativity with images spanning art, music, cinema, astronomy, science, and literature. Coordinator Carolyn Schneider mentored the project, sponsored by the Friends of the Fort Bragg Library, with work begun in June and finished in November. a December 8 reception honored the artists.
