California 1960 fishing licenses go on sale state wide

California Department of Fish and Game announces 1960 sportfishing licenses and stamps are available at 4,000 agents. Fanciest Fielding Baseballers Honored

Clinton Butchy McCord of the Victoria Rosebuds is the first repeat winner of the Rawlings Silver Glove for fielding. He made two errors in 1,265 chances last season and had prior honors with the National Association A-Star Fielding Team in 1958. Ketward Moore and Rat Graber led outfield totals for Pacific Coast League selection, Leonavio Cardenas of Havana was top shortstop with a 4.98 fielding percentage, and he will report to the Cincinnati Reds next spring. The trophies are custom gloves with engraved name plates.
