Oakland man ejected in Highway 253 crash near Ukiah
An Oakland man, 44, was seriously injured when his 1989 Mazda failed to negotiate a curve on Highway 253 near mile marker 15. The car left the road, flipped several times, hit a redwood, and the driver was ejected roughly 100 feet from the wreck. He was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital after scene treatment by local crews.

Highway 101 Lake County Driver Dies In Crash
A Lake County man died when his 1994 Jeep Wrangler left Highway 101 near Laytonville and struck a tree. The crash occurred around 11 05 a m on December 17 as the vehicle drifted left onto the shoulder and down an embankment. The single occupant was wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
