Chuck Davis born in Baris Illinois to William C and Lillie Meyers Davis Matlock grew up on a farm. He served as Seaman First Class in the Navy from February 1943 to December 1945. He married Ava Bivens Clark in May 1964 and worked 30 plus years as a State of California building painter, retiring in 1984. He loved camping and dancing on travels. Survived by Ava, daughter Sheryl Parker, Mary Clark, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services December 8 at Ukiah Cemetery Chapel with graveside burial. Donations to Hospice of Ukiah. Eversole Mortuary handling arrangements.
