Ukiah Man Dies in Ukiah N State Street Crash
Roy M. Mitchell, 25, of Ukiah died at 10 10 last night when a car carrying him as a passenger collided with another at N State Street and KUKI Road. Several others were injured and taken to Ukiah hospitals as Robert Myatt, 26, tried to turn left and was struck by a southbound car driven by Walter Hammeken, 20, of Pacifica. Mrs Hammeken, his wife, and Ronald Knight, also injured, with Mrs Hammeken undergoing surgery for two broken legs and head injuries. Rites pending at Zimmerman Mortuary for Mitchell. California Highway Patrol investigates both crashes.
