Beafalo baron Oliver Bud Hemphill, 55, received two years probation and a $2,000 fine from Justice Court Judge Richard Kossow. He must also repay $4,500 plus interest to the state employment tax office. Five counts were dropped and four dismissed. four counts convicted relate to unpaid payroll withholdings at Taralara Ranch south of Ukiah. The case ties to EuroPacific Corp. and Taralara Ranch operations in 1976.
