Recreation basketball program forms for youths in Ukiah area
A plan to create a Thursday evening recreation league for junior high and high school boys is moving forward. Athletic director Orrick Beadieh and the California education department back the idea to offer eight teams in Frosh-Soph and Juniors-Seniors leagues with seven to eight players per squad, plus a separate program for all other boys.
