Semi overturns on Highway 101 near Hopland
A wood chip hauler flipped onto its side on Highway 101 just south of the Green Bridge near Hopland around 7:50 a.m. Friday. The 49-year-old Lucerne man driver was hospitalized with major injuries as northbound lanes remained closed for over two hours. The Hopland Fire Department reported the empty truck blocked the road and the driver escaped before help arrived.
