City of Ukiah must absorb a 15 percent wholesale power raise from PG&E totaling $129000 more for the city’s electric customers. Pioneer aviator Charles A Lindbergh, aged 72, died Monday at a beachfront Maui cottage after treatment for a malignant lymphatic tumor. He was buried in Kipahulu in a simple coffin, with wife Anne and son Land present. President Ford and Sen. Humphrey honored him as a hero and pioneer of the air age.
