Identity of murdered woman still unknown
Sheriff’s department has learned more about the fatal bludgeoning of an Indian woman three miles south of Ukiah but no identification or suspect yet. The unidentified woman, 5 feet 4 inches, about 225 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, was found at Schrader ranch. A white 1965-66 Oldsmobile with Illinois plates was linked to a male suspect, David Zainz, seen with a woman in the orchard Monday evening. An all-points bulletin is out and fingerprints have been sent to state and federal agencies. Call 462-2951 with tips.
