Ukiah Connie Mack Fall Short In Ninth In Stockton Thriller

Ukiah Connie Mack trailed by six runs and fought back to force a late game, but lost 11-10 to North Stockton 20 30 in the bottom of the ninth at Billy Hebert Field. The setback came after an opening win over Stockton Stuarts and a win over Santa Clas in the tournament opener.

Hull Sets Torrid Pace In Novice Swim Event

Richard Hull 13 won all four races in his age division and earned the outstanding novice swimmer trophy at the Redwood Empire Fair meet. Patty Knudsen 11 claimed the top novice girl trophy with two wins and improved times in other strokes. Over 100 ribbons were awarded with Dolphin swim team officials assisting. The Ukiah Dolphins face the Sea Serpents in Sebastopol next.

Fullmer Elbow Injury Threatens Title Bid
