Trouts Planted Locally as Season Opens May 3
Four thousand rainbow trout 8 to 18 inches were planted yesterday in Upper Blue Lake by State Department of Fish and Game officials. Trout season opens May 3 and runs to October 31. Approximately the same number were planted at both ends of the lake, owner John Dunlap of Le Trianon resort says. Limits are 15 fish or 10 pounds and one fish.
