Carter unveils anti inflation plan seeks voluntary cooperation

President Carter presented an anti inflation package aiming to cut the inflation rate by two percentage points by year end 1979. Time capsule opening draws Class of 1930 members to Ukiah ceremony

Ukiah High School plans a Saturday 1 p.m. time capsule opening from the Old Main cornerstone. About 40 surviving Class of 1930 members and many relatives are invited to attend at the new Ukiah campus off Low Gap Road. Judge Wakefield Taylor will serve as master of ceremonies, with Rowland Nielson and Principal Bill Tully coordinating the events.
