Ukiah Men s City Bowling Tourney Opens Monday

A field of 32 teams enters the First Annual Ukiah Men s City Championships at Yokayo Bowl. Tourney director John Finnegan released the four squads and starting times for Monday and Tuesday team events with eight lanes open to the public. singles and doubles will be announced next week with about 120 bowlers and roughly $225 in cash prizes and trophies for winning team members.

Yokayo Scratch Team Heads to New Holiday Bowl Rematch

Ukiah Weekend Tennis Tourney seedings announced

Recreation and Parks Director Stan Stafford announced seedings for the second annual Ukiah City Tennis Championship held at Ukiah High School courts. Dan Roberts leads the singles draw with George Hunter second and Marshall Leve third. Nancy Stoleson is the sole woman in singles. Robertson Green Pace College Stars in Pan-Am

In Louisville Oscar Robertson and Johnny Green led the College All-Stars past Phillips Oilers 89 to 83 as Pan-Am trials opened. Green scored 20 and grabbed 27 rebounds while Robertson added 23.
