Friday evening Miss Helen White was the honored guest at a surprise party hosted by the Young People’s Society of the Mission church at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Huse. Guests enjoyed refreshments, games, and a candle shower, with chaperones present. Also noted is a social event hosted by Miss Mary Kath Bisher and Mrs. Vernell O’Leary at the Blue Cakes home, for teachers and new staff at area schools, including a visiting instructor from Annapolis. dinner arrangements and guests are described, followed by a bridge session.
