Miss Elizabeth McCormick and Charles B McConnell of Twin Falls were married at 10 AM Wednesday at the Gilliam home south of Twin Falls. Rev H G Humphrey of the Methodist Episcopal church officiated. After the ceremony the couple left for Yellowstone National Park and will reside in Twin Falls. The groom works for the city and the bride has taught in Missouri and Idaho.
The Twin Falls chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star held its final meeting before summer vacation at the Masonic temple Tuesday evening. Initiatory work was exemplified and special music provided by Mrs. W. H. Dwight and Mrs. J. A. Uggert. Report of grand chapter given by Mrs. Frank Baldwin, worthy matron. Freshments were served after the session.
Members of the P. E. O. Sisterhood at Lach 9 held a meeting at Mrs Edward Cooper's home on Avenue North Tuesday evening. Mrs Cooper, a local chapter delegate, presented the proceedings of the convention held recently at Moscow. Mrs Breckenridge assisted with refreshments.
The club gathered at Mrs Marold Daly's home on Fourth Avenue Tuesday evening for a social hour and sewing the quilt for the Woodcraft home in California. Refreshments were served during the hour.
Theodore Hicks son of Mr and Mrs Jeksler married Miss Nelda Ore daughter of Mr and Mrs W Burley at the Burley stake president Lewis home on San tine 24. They wore satin and carpet satin gown with red and white rose bouquet. Attendant Merle Whitesides of Burley. Reed Lewis of Burley served as best man. They plan a trip through Yellowstone Park and will settle in Gallatin Valley Idaho.
Mr Hicks and partner accepted positions at Bessien school fourteen miles east of Shoshone with plans to reside there after September first. Hicks, a Filer High School and Albion State Normal alum, led student activities and served as student body president 1927-28. Mrs Hicks, a Burley High and Albion Normal graduate, starred in operettas and declamations. Dorcas Hester of Twin Falls visits Dorothy Case as Mrs A J Daum returns from a weekend in resin. John Olmsted and Nat Boman dine with local families. Miss Mary Boman joins Sunday dinner with Miss Helen Doud.
The Star Social club and their families will meet for a picnic dinner Friday evening at 7 40 at the home of Mr and Mrs I J Malone on Addison avenue just back of Cozy Nook farm. Bring sandwiches and a covered dish.

Lane makes her screen debut in this picture outdoors, while Brent plays Gilbrete Boismartel pursuing Captain Ferreol despite past marriage to Marquis Boismartel.
Mrs. Spray of Falls visits St Paul as A C Wood returns to his home in St Paul. Mr and Mrs Wood and Bernice Wood were long time residents of Twin Falls. John F Baker of Boise visits Twin Falls on Union Pacific business. A J E Slifer and son Arthur Jr travel on vacation to Guyer Hot Springs. Effie Watkins, past president of the Idaho Rebekah assembly, returns from Pocatello after attending lodges meeting in south Idaho.
