Friends and admirers gathered at the Presbyterian Church Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock to honor Mrs Mary C McMillan wife of James McMillan, pioneer of Twin Falls. The service, led by Roy A Pearson, featured flowers at the pews and musical numbers including Abide With Me. Pallbearers were L L Breckenridge T J Douglas A R Ostrander W E Nixon R W Gardner and Tom Moit. Interment followed at Twin Falls Cemetery.

Misa DeWitt daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J DeWitt was honored at a charming miscellaneous shower Monday evening at the P J Costello home. Highlights included a treasure ship with gifts for the bride to be, prize winners Georgia McMaster and Zimia Scheneberger, and a luncheon after games. Junior W C TU Meets Tuesday at Mrs Grumble’s Home

The Junior W C TU met Tuesday afternoon at Mrs Sam Grumble’s country home. Mrs Ben Lider chaired and Mrs Alvin Pickett led devotions. After business, Mrs Frank Boughton led the program on W C U work in the foreign field. Mrs W W Montooth spoke on flower science day origins and Mrs Ben Elder read a paper on the World Conference in Switzerland in July and August. Refreshments followed.

Gooding College Couple Marries in Twin Falls

Miss Phyllis Sdephy daughter of Mr and Mrs D J Jacoby of Twin Falls and Wester Calkins of Gooding were wed at the Methodist Episcopal church with Rev G Humphrey officiating. The ceremony followed a college romance as the couple attend Gooding college. After the ceremony the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Pocatello with Mr and Mrs Gidking accompanying them.
