Girl Loses Life in Hagerman Pond
Dee Le Nellie Owe ley Hagerman Pont, daughter of Mire Livgie Dove ley, drowned in the skating pond near here at 8 p m Wednesday. An inexperienced skater went toward the center, broke through the ice, and was submerged for about 20 minutes before rescue. Medical aid proved futile after two hours. Sister Mar Vera Allen of Robin, Tihiho notified but unable to attend. Survivors: mother Mas Owsley, sister, and nine-year-old brother Lee Owsley.
