Mrs Gert Sweet and Alice Walking served refreshments during the social hour, providing a brief moment of hospitality and community gathering.
Regular meeting of Tro Hiey chib discussed parliamentary duties and Christiad charity work. Ivan Wilt elected sergeant at arms. After the meeting, students attended a Seclusion and a hospital operation is noted. Play production, led by Miss Helen Nhmupp, staged The Loveliest Thing in church and at Excelsior. VW Y club plans a charity box for Christmas aid and DO V club to hold a white gift processional.
Twenty witnesses are named in the subpoenaes for the second triad of the state against Joseph L. Snowden for burglary with a judge setting start at 10 a.m. Ensign. The list includes William Ensley Connie Bray Henry McCornick and others among 60 additional prospective jurors added after the first panel.
Mrs. Cowling hosted a birthday dinner for A. B. Herron at their Poplar Avenue home with Mrs. Joe Koehler Mrs. Martha Smith Mrs. Laura Felbush and Mrs. Lillian Peterson arranging details. Guests included Mr. Herron his son William Deffenthaler of Decatur and the Cowlings. Santa visited a later party with Children of Royal Neighbors at the LO 0 F hall delivering toys to kids and trinkets to adults during a holiday gathering decorated with holly wreaths and a large glittering Christmas tree.
Camp Fire Girls finalize plans for a Christmas party next Friday evening at Mrs. Phil Thomas's home, guardian of Tatapochon Camp. The group voted Katherine Thoupeen into the organization. Final arrangements for Christmas baskets for the poor were made. The meeting closed with toasts and refreshments served by the hostess and her sister Bessie.
At Mrs. Eiza Wooll's home on Second Avenue West Twin Falls chapter members gathered Friday afternoon with Mrs. J. E. Ross Mrs. Etta Kerr and Mrs. CG Rowcliffe as assistants. Presiding officer Mrs. W. J. Reynolds led a business session voting $5 toward the Americanization school and arranging annual Christmas boxes for veterans in Boise's hospital logs. A grab bag was featured and refreshments followed.
Mrs. Ross Nelson entertained the ToS. 8. cbb at her home on Fourth Avenue North Friday afternoon. Arrangements were completed for the annual Christmas party to be held with Kensington. Refreshments were prepared by the hostess and the remainder of the afternoon was spent with Kensington members.
Baptist Women's circle met Thursday afternoon at the church bungalow. With presidents absent, vice President Mrs. Jerank Belleville led the business session while Waken, program leader, presented “Greetings from the Mission fields.” A novel method used sealed folders with Christmas stickers containing missionary news. Mrs. Pearl Westcott sang a portion of the program.
An old fashioned quilting bee grounds Dean Hiome for Friday afternoon gathering. Friends and neighbors meet in a village room decorated with sprigs and textiles as work continues into the late afternoon.
Idaho Department store hosts a pre holiday Gentlemen's Night with men browsing while music from Benoit's Orchestra plays. Miss Telee Wiseman and Cecilia Beckwith appear in festive costumes handing out cigars and hanbans as Santa visits across the street at Tingwall's. Families gather to shop for kids and view Santa while J. C. Pentley's store stays open for evening crowds.
The family of our beloved mother and grandmother thanks neighbors and friends for kindness during illness and death. We especially thank those who sent floral offerings. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Heighton and Family extend appreciation.

The Blue Triangle club held a candy sale in the high school corridors yesterday and increased the Twindell s Girl Reserves camp fund by six dollars and forty five cents from the total proceeds.
