Women Progressive Club Hosts Busy Christmas Meeting
Mrs Maverland hosted the Women Progressive club at Mrs June Kirkman’s home with sixteen members and three visitors. They discussed aiding a poor family, formed committees, and heard programs on Christmas topics. The group planned the annual dinner for husbands and collected gifts for an Orphans’ home in Boise.

John B. Malling and Wayne Ind. announce a national plan for the Watchmen of the Republic to promote constitutional understanding and curb hate. Edwin P. Morrow named general chairman of the board. the Illinois incorporated group will form Watch Towers in several states before nationwide expansion. The aim is tolerance and full constitutional rights, not an anti Klux Klan alliance.
