Society Notes Highlight Local Clubs And Gatherings
Addison Avenue Social club held a postrol call meeting with needlework and refreshments as Mrs. W. B. Fulton joined. Wimadausi Club met for a luncheon and needlework. Harmony club hosted by Mrs. M. Q. Conover featured high score honors to Mrs. J. A. Campbell and refreshments. Wednesday Bridge club at Mrs. EB Williams’s home. Kinberly Roads club tied a quilt after the meeting. Mrs. W. Orr Chapman hosted in honor of Mrs. A. V. Palmer of Pasadena. guests included Mrs. Palmer and Mrs. J. W. Chapman. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Lambing dined with several guests. music followed. Campfire Girls Ekolela Circle welcomed new members Doris Winn, Baratha Clapp, LaVerne Parish, and Dorothy Parish. Henry Walker Circle October Sixteen to meet at Mrs. Peck’s on Friday. Episcopal church ladies to host a social and lunch at Parish hall Saturday starting at 11 oclock.

Filer Pioneer Edward F Price Laid to Rest
Funeral services for Edward F Price occurred Wednesday at his son's home. Pioneer of the Filer district with years on a farm south of town, he later moved with family to Jerome. Born in Lendovy Wales he leaves his wife nine children and two brothers in Wisconsin. Christian Science ministers led the service with many local and Jerome friends in attendance.
