Bible school at 9 45 a m led by superintendent Mr G Edwards and Roy P Adams pastor. Sermons at 11 a m and 8 pm with themes Christ Greater Than Solomon and The Most Serious Question in the Bible. Prayer meetings midweek and weekly activities listed for Twin Falls and Clarist Scientist church events and rites.
Guthrie hosted an Evening Bridge Party at a home on Shoshone Street with autumn flowers and a two course luncheon. High score went to Mrs. Co D Thomas. guests included numerous local women and several gentlemen. Edna White hosted a dancing party for about thirty friends on Brie Lakes Boulevard with lawn dancing and garden flowers. Charles Hill and Miss Michel Kautz hosted a three-table bridge in early autumn decor. Charles Macauley won high, Arthur J Peavey consolation, and a later two goddess course served. The Presbyterian Missionary Society met in church parlors with devotionals and a study on Chinn and Jed led by Mrs Schade. Mrs Gamble announced study book availability. The Pythian Sisters and families planned an Artesian City natatorium picnic, cars leaving at 11 o’clock. Blue Bell club members met at Eden home for a banquet after business. Miss Jones entertained a slumber party at Lakes Boulevard. attendees included Toss Shotwell, Helen Stearns, Emma Schick.

Miss Nona Yocheni to Minneapolis to attend the University of Minnesota. Mrs W P Guthrie returns from Enfield. Mr and Mrs Daniel Boone of Pullman Wash visit Hansen and depart. Miss Norma Moss returns to Salt Lake City. Mark Swan and Mayme Swan depart for Melbeta Neb. Mrs A C Fouts and daughters visit Mrs RB Stover.

City council of Twin Falls Idaho grants Oregon Short Line Railroad Company its successors and assigns a ten foot right of way to move and maintain its spur track across an alley in Block 147 Twin Falls Townsite as shown on the final plat. If the spur is moved the railroad must repair all damage to the alley and Minidoka Street under street commissioner's supervision. Passed August 18 1924. Mayor Shadl Hodgin. Attest James L Mee.
A Saturday session at the first and second ward churches will showcase a Primary Association demonstration with children aged four to twelve performing songs stories and dramatizations to illustrate primary work. Saturday evening features by Relief Society and Mutual Improvement Association will present demonstrations including leisure time activities and home recreation.
Four members of the stake Sunday School board will demonstrate lesson preparation at the Orpheum theatre. All stake Sunday School workers will participate. The evening session will be devoted to the Mutual Improvement Association with the theme We Stand for the Commandment Honor thy Father and Mother. Members of the stake board, the stake president, and visiting general board members will give addresses and a fine musical program is planned.
