New York bond quotations show Liberty bonds at 97.00s, Victory bonds around 97.5, with various 4s and 44s trading. Glasgow Montana voters set March 22 to authorize up to 220000 for seed grain feed and provisions to aid drought victims, money to be loaned on farms or other security as needed.
Chicago reports mixed grain trading as fears of wheat crop damage in the southwest push corn higher. May corn quotes rise as traders weigh weather, feed profitability, and recent bearish factors. Oats and provisions follow corn's lead as the market ends firmer after early selling.
