Livestock Exchange Urges Continuance of Inspection
Chicago June 18 The National Livestock Exchange adopted a resolution protesting elimination of federal cattle inspection by the Bureau of Animal Industry. A committee will present the protest to Secretary Edwin T. Meredith, requesting continued inspection. The resolution asserts livestock grading at slaughter time aids producers salesmen and buyers alike.
