Electors of Twillingate are informed a booth opens in Arm Adeny for Farmer Armand Durrell voters with overflow option at St Andrew's School. Extra booths at United Church Superior School and Blaft Head Cove. polling also at Parish Hall and booths in Crow Head Manuel's Cove Little K Salt Harbour Green's Cove Sunnyside Saltons Virgin Arm Tizard's Hr Morton's Hr Western Head Bridgeport Cottle's Island Summerford and St John's Buin Ode. Eligible electors may vote at any booth. Dated October 25, 1928.
Public notice to electors states a poll has been demanded for the pending election and that the poll is granted. It lists nominated candidates for votes: Brown and Kenneth McK Brown, of King's Cove, B.B. Millwright, E. J. Wornell.
Electors state name and surname to receive a ballot. They may be sworn in before Ballot Paper issuance. Voters vote for one candidate by marking a cross in a designated division, then fold the ballot showing back initials and hand it to the Deputy Returning Officer.
The Deputy Returning Officer must confirm the ballot paper corresponds to the elector before placing it in the ballot box. Voters exit the station after voting. Spoiled ballots may be replaced by the officer. Voting for more candidates or marking to identify the voter voids the ballot. Taking a ballot from the station or inserting a non-paper ballot leads to penalties of up to five hundred dollars or imprisonment up to six months with or without hard labor.
Mrs E Loader of Grand Falls expresses public gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Notre Dame Bay Memorial Hospital Twillingate for kindness and skill during illness. She thanks friends for visits and gifts that brightened her stay and aided her restoration to health.
A son was born at Memorial Hospital on October 20 to Dr and Mrs Sherman Andrews named Thomas Edwards. At Morton’s Home on October 21 a twin son was born to Mr and Mrs A Knight.

A social and small sale of fancy work is planned at Little Harbour School on Wednesday October 3. Doors open at 7 o clock with a hearty welcome to all.
