Obituary notes the death of Eva Conway on October 1, mourning her husband Philip Conway, four children, two sisters, two brothers, and many relatives. Burial occurred October 3 at Rink Road Cemetery with Rev. Pitt officiating, the family honoring her as a loving wife and mother.

Monday evening last the St Peter's C H W A group hosted a surprise party for Martha Wells in Back Hr. to celebrate Aunt Martha's birthday. Gifts were presented and a grand feast followed with two birthday cakes, one decorated with the C BE W A flag and the other with many candies. The gathering ended on a cheerful note with the song For she's a jolly good fellow.
