Miss Margaret Hart left Lewisporte Wednesday to visit her hospitalised sister from Joe Batt's Arm. Robert Keefe of Grand Falls travelled from Izzard's Harbor to visit his ill sister Mrs Kenneth Forward. Dr J M Olds visited Change Islands Wednesday to tend sick residents. Mr Loveridge of Confederation Life returned Tuesday night from nearby towns via Lewisport.

Captain Albert Blackwoos Dies at Home in Wesleville

Capt Albert Blackwoos died at his home in Wesleville at 7 30 am on Wednesday. A message was received by Magistrate Abbitt the same day. He is an uncle to Mrs R P Jerkine of South Side. Bert Leach died in Surrey Tangoland last week and asked to be brought home for burial beside his late father Rev Charles Lench at Brivus.
