Newfoundland Lobster Size Increase Proposal Announced
The Newfoundland Fisheries Board proposes raising the lobster minimum carapace size from three and one sixteenth to three and one eighth inches. The change takes effect before the 1942 catching season to align with laws in purchasing countries. Fishermen and handlers must adjust instruments and follow the new limit, announced by KK F Osmond Acting Secretary on January 8 1942.
