Defence (Photography) Regulations Order 1943

In exercise of powers under the Defence Photography Regulations 1942 and amendments I issue the following Order dated January 7 1943 signed by L E Emerson Commissioner for Justice.

Control of Photography Order No 4 1943 Prohibits Photography Places

This order declares places where photography is banned and extends to nearby areas within 200 yards. It requires written permits from authorized authorities to possess or operate photographic gear near prohibited sites. It cites Newfoundland Airport near Gander as a prohibited area within five miles of the railway station.

The order defines Goose Airport area as within five miles of the Aerodrome Control Tower at the Air Station Goose Bay Labrador establishing jurisdiction and bounds for aviation control.
