Food Prices Emergency Order No 8 1942 Public Notice

The Food Current Prices Order under the Emergency Powers Act sets price limits on specified foods as of December 22 1943. It defines current price, restricts sales above current price, excludes meals by caterers, forbids fictitious or excessive charges, and notes offences under the Defence Regulations. The amendment removes Tinned Meats from the 1942 Schedule.
