Public notice states that one month from the date hereof it is proposed to ban timber cutting for building fencing sawing or firewood in the Long Point area North Island Twillingate within a described boundary. A penalty of 20 dollars applies for each tree cut contrary to the prohibition issued by the Department of the Secretary of State on April 4 1933.

The Minister of Posts and Telegraphs announces an additional regulation under the Radiotelegraph Act effective April 30 1933. Section 80 requires every dealer in radio receiving apparatus to send within seven days after each month end a list of names and addresses of all customers who bought radio sets or parts during that month, with penalties up to fifty dollars per failure. The United Church Educational Board in Twillingate offers teaching positions at Durrells Academy Central Superior and various local schools. Grade 1 or 2 teachers with normal training earn board salaries from 180 to 320 dollars, with five month posts at Manuel's Cove and Kettle Cove. Further reductions by Government may apply.
