The Twillingate Regional Library announces a new Branch Library will open at the P O Building in Durrell's Arm on Saturday April 14 at 4 p.m. Miss Phoebe Minty will serve as Librarian. Regular hours are Mondays 4 5 p.m. and Saturdays 7 8 p.m. Mary Anstey, Librarian of the North Side Library, will attend to open the branch and register borrowers on the Arm Saturday afternoon.
Mrs Harriet Clarke marks her 90th birthday on Friday April 6 born in 1955 at Gilesporte she is widow of Peter Clarke and resides with a young lady in her home enjoying good health. Friends send best wishes for many happy returns.
