Tustin Trash Sculpture Raises Schoolwide Eco Awareness
Red Hill Elementary fourth graders led by Janelle Crain created a large sculpture from recycled materials for the Trash Artist Challenge at the Youth Expo. The project involved more than 500 students, used chicken wire and repurposed items, and promoted sustainability lessons. The artwork, a reef themed piece with animals, will be shown at the Anaheim Muzeo through May 28 with related pieces at the Santa Ana DC Greenfair Art Walk on May 17.
