Beckman pitcher Kaprielian nearly perfect in near no hitter
Beckman right-hander James Kaprielian (3-0) carried a no hitter into the seventh inning before a passed ball on a third strike opened the door for Brennan Leitao to break the bid with a two-out single. Kaprielian struck out 10 and earned a big early season win as Beckman trailed until a six-run sixth inning. Woodbridge starter Horth kept Beckman in check through five, allowing only two hits before the late Beackman surge.
