Waste collection schedule and Christmas tree rules in Tustin area
Waste Management of Orange County and CR&R Inc will collect trees on regular days from Dec 13 to Jan 13 and Dec 26 to Jan 6 respectively. Trees over 6 feet must be cut in half and decorations removed. Flocked trees are not recyclable. Trees may go to the curb or be cut up for green waste. bottom first placement preferred. Also Lions club hosts 75th annual student speaker contest with $25 runners up and $75 winner. finalists from Tustin Unified School District compete for larger prizes.
