Siblings honored in fight against breast cancer
Susan G. Komen Orange County held its Circle of Promise Day during the Survivor Celebration and Awards Luncheon at the Oasis Senior Center in Corona del Mar. Four Orange County residents were recognized for impact on the breast cancer community, including Alison and James Kaprielian of Tustin, co survivors whose mother Barbara died after a 14 year battle. James played baseball for UCLA and was drafted by the Yankees in 2015, while Alison founded the Pink Ribbon Club and has raised over $40,000 in her mother's name and now works with Kure It Cancer Research.
