Highway Patrol Builds Nogales District Post near border
Cole Construction Co. of Tucson will start a $52,473 project Monday for a new district highway patrol headquarters four miles north of the border on Highway 89. The burnt adobe one story building will house seven rooms with Spanish tile and a walled patio. District 6 will cover Santa Cruz and Cochise Counties with about 18 patrolmen. Sgt. Jaime Teyechea acts as district commander until examinations next month.
