Phoenix police search for the owner of fifty four hundred and one dollars discovered in a cardboard box within a Greyhound bus depot locker. Detectives study whether the cash was part of a robbery ransom or brought from another area.
A meeting to organize a Minnesota Alumni club in Tucson will be held at the Elks club luncheon at 12 p.m. on November 14. Anyone who attended the University of Minnesota is welcome to attend. The program will feature motion pictures of the Golden Gophers in a 1954 football game.
In the Samuel Stracuzzi murder trial, Judge Lee Garrett denied a mistrial request from the prosecution after closure arguments. The jury of 10 women and two men will retire to deliberate. The car fire broke out October 28 near Mt. Shasta. a passerby rescued the girl and a patrol relay brought blood from Sacramento to the hospital as doctors fought to save her.
