Voyles Trial Jury Selection Likely To End Tomorrow
Jury selection in the Rachel Voyles murder case drag on in Superior Court with half of a 36 member panel seated after two days of individual questioning by Judge Robert Boylston. Defense and county attorneys will each have 11 pre emptory challenges to seat a 12 jurors and two alternates once the panel is complete. Mrs Voyles 50 is charged in the Aug 12 fatal shooting of her former husband William Earl Atwood at his home. She and her son Anthony Atwood are charged with conspiracy to commit murder and Atwood is confined to the Arizona State Hospital awaiting mental fitness to stand trial.
