Observing National Correct Posture Week the Chiropractic Community Center of Arizona at 524 N 6th Ave will sponsor a free clinic for school age children. Hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday to Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Two chiropractors from Pima County will examine children for posture and spinal balance.
The County of Pima Arizona invites sealed bids for a six span prestressed concrete girder bridge over the Ritlto River at North Campbell Avenue Tucson. Bids due 11:00 A M May. Work to be completed by October 4 1943. Project includes drainage and structural excavation, concrete, piles, rail ties, and reinforcement. Bidding at the Clerk of the Board in the Pima County Courthouse Tucson.
William H. Wheeler chair of the Tucson Chamber of Commerce water resources committee announced four subcommittee chairmen. Subcommittees include Central Arizona project and basin concept led by George Chambers and Harold Meyers, water recharge by Sol Resnick, refuse reclamation by Kenneth Scharman, and domestic and agriculture conservation by Phil J. Martin Jr. Wheeler's full committee will meet May 13.
Pima County invites sealed bids for guard rail installation on Kitt Peak Observatory Road, 40 miles west of Tucson. Plans and specifications cost 10 dollars, refundable if returned by May 9 1963. bids due May 6 1963 at 11:00 AM. Work must be completed by July 31 1963 with galvanzed road guard beam materials.
